Agnes Lodge, named after the founder Mrs. Agnes Kera, is a 22 room hotel that clings to the shore of the island studded Roviana Lagoon. The untouched beauty of the Western Province of the Solomon Islands has been attracting visitors from all around the world for years. Only an hour flight or a 10 hours daylight voyage from the capital Honiara, Munda is situated close to the junction of the Roviana and Vona Vona lagoons, and is ideal for travellers who want something off the beaten track and are in search of the real Solomon Islands, whilst enjoying superb cuisine, comfortable accommodation and breathtaking scenery above and below the water.Agnes Lodge offer a range of accommodation from suites & stand-alone cottages to budget rooms and backpackers dormitories. The guest rooms have their own facilities. The triple backpacker rooms and dormitories, share facilities and some have a shared kitchen for self catering. All rooms are mosquito netted and fan cooled and are serviced daily. Roviana Restaurant is open from early morning until late, and serves a range of local dishes and English cuisine for breakfast, lunch and diner.The Munda Bar is a wonderful place to meet other travellers and is open from early morning to late in the evenings.On site services include a Munda Dive Shop with its qualified staff of instructors and dive masters, and Go West Tours with its fleet of boats and canoes to take you anywhere throughout the New Georgia group of islands. The lodge also offers regular scheduled services to the nearby towns of Noro, Ringi Cove and Gizo. Reception Desk is staffed from early morning to late at night.
